Default disagree - provided the intent is to warn fellow enthusiasts and not to bash Achtuning.

Granted, the result is the same, but the intent does matter IMO.

Default IMO the blemishes are pretty minor, and i'd probably put them on the car and never think about...

...it again. I can understand though why the guy is upset - he paid for brand new unblemished wheels, waited a LOT longer to get them than he was told he would have to, then when he got them they werent in the condition he wanted. I dont blame him a bit for making a big deal over it.

Default Skyler is actually right, he can talk to UPS as well, but ultimately...

...once the wheels leave achtuning you own them and you'll need to open a claim with the shipper. Achtuning can definitely back you up once you have the claim open, but im pretty sure the initial action needs to be taken by you.

I'd just take Josh up on his offer for a full refund if i were you, sounds like the easiest way to get out of this mess. I feel for ya man, I hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction.

Default NO.... the shippes is always, always responsible for filing a claim..... the only way it would be

flipped is if you it was the buyers UPS account number which was used to ship the wheels, but we know in this case, that was not the fact.

Default that's not true. either the sender or recipient or a third-party can...

that's my experience with fedex and it clearly says that on their site.

Default Recipient? I can scan in a couple claims that have been denied because the shipper must file it...

On each of them it clearly states that the reason for decline is that the claim must originate with the shipper or the account holder who fedex/ups number was used to ship the item.

Default yep, go to fedex's site...it says that :)

i just think, in most cases, it's good business for the sender to take care of it all.

Default true, there's more to it than the tiny scratches...i'm not blaming him for posting...

there's just more to it than the blemish....like the service beforehand.

Default Exactly. Doesn't make sense that the buyer is responsible.

The shipper is the one who was billed for the shipping charges. Why would the buyer initiate charges to be refunded to the shipper? Just doesn't work that way.
