I was finally rescued today after more than 5 months in captivity in a small closet next to the water heater of a suburban home. With only water and an unnatural light to provide me warmth and nourishment I could not have lasted for more than another few weeks.
When the federal agents came in to rescue me they also found gallons of some kind of flammable liquid, which I can only surmise would have been used to burn me. After suffering through a long grueling drive over the border into Arizona inside the upholstered seat of a 72' el camino, months in captivity are nothing to me.
I would like to personally thank the men and women of law enforcement for their support. Being a native of Mexico myself, I did have some concerns with how the Patriot Act would effect my life, but in this case I think it worked to save me.
I have to go, I smell something burning and the DEA just invited me to a barbeque.

I just got out of a difficult relationship and refuse to be burned again, literally.
