Default Thanks MikeL and Leslie for APR exhaust input...

I'm gonna live with it a while and the ensueing deafness (like you) will probably help. When I get around to it (but before carbon monoxide poisoning sets in), I'll try giving it a few whacks. I assume you whacked the muffler canisters? and not the exhaust tips? Is that first box the SRT?

I took it off to put money in the bank.. the stock exhaust is back on now.

I think you're addressing Mike w/ your questions... But I'm curious, do you have 2 mufflers or 1? The SRT is only on the version w/ one muffler and is in the middle of the exhaust (looks like a dead-end if you will). Best of luck...

Default The SRT is a dead end tube in the middle of the exhaust...

If you have the 1st APR exhaust, there should be only 1 can at the back where the tips come out.

If you have 2 cans, you have their new exhaust(?). If that's the case, it should be quieter than version 1.

Anyhow, yes, i just placed a scrap 2x4 against the can and gave it a couple of whacks with a rubber mallet to set the pipes closer together (~1") and haven't had a problem since.
