Default Thanks to you guys I was able to drop the tranny and replace the clutch on my car...

Thanks guys!

A few minor issues. Maybe you can give me a bit more advice.

When I dropped the tranny I removed the shifter box. (I didn't want to mess with the linkage on the transexual)

1. Now when I shift, the throw is a little short for 1st, 3rd, and 5th.

2. It shifts into reverse fine but about 30%-40% of the time it will hang up a little when flicking it out of reverse. Meaning, when taking it out of reverce it's coming back, and to the right and halfway through that motion it just sticks. I can easily move from there back into a neutral position.

I was very meticulous with taking the assembly apart(hey, I'm German, we do that) so I know there is no damage to the shifter assembly. I'm thinking that the stablizer bolt from the shifter to tranny may need to be adjusted, ja? I haven't had a chance to look at it any more last night, figured I'd get some opinions before I get back to it.

I don't think it's going to be anything more than a bolt or two. Korrekt?

Danke, Chad

Default Never have done anything like this before... took me 9 hours start to finish.

I just tell myself, "It's just unbolting stuff" and it doesn't seem too hard.

I also laid a bunch of tile at my house a few months ago. Everyone was saying how hard it is to do lay granite and travertine... took me no time at all. Just told myself, "It's just cutting squares down and slapping them evenly onto a floor/wall.

I work in IT daily, we can do anything. Haha.

Thanks.

Are you refering to the setting of it being 3 degrees to the right and 7 degrees back?
