Is there another place to get the shifter plate trim other than the dealership?....I'd like to get

I use them as cores for carbon ones.

Default Are you sure? I could be wrong on this but I thought there were more that two. I'm going to the

dealership today to check out the different types on the showroom floor.

Default Have you tried other materials? If you can use polymers in your fabrication perhaps

you could experiment with color and pattern combo's.

Default carbon/kevlar, how did that turn out? I have samples of that stuff - pretty gaudy IMO

I know it changes appearance slightly when impregnated with resin, but it seems a bit overkill appearance wise.

Default I'll snap you a pic, I found the most subtle one I could from a supplier up in NH.

very darl blue and black... when you look at it in low light, you can't see the blue at all,,, than in te right light at the right angle it pops, almost to a blue somewhere between Santorin and the blue in my seats...

Default B6/B7 A4's might have different options than the B5's

only way to possibly get a dark wood for a B5 is check out what was made for the A4's post 1999
