Are there any good Mercedes Benz forum like this one?

Not that I've ever seen. I had a 92 500E and searched in vain for message boards and/or enthusiasts but there just weren't any beyond the tuners who modify them.

it sucked a lot of fuel down and because it's quiet I tended to drive it absurdly fast. It pulls to it's rev limiter no fuss, even with 5 adults in the car. 155 every time. In 8 months of ownership I had it flatbedded to the dealership three times and it would have been incredibly expensive to work on had I not had the Starmark warranty. As I had gotten out of a 88 928S4 I had no desire to pay high upkeep costs for this sedan as well. So when the Starmark warranty was about to expire, I sold it and bought my 928 back which so far I've driven across country three times in. Also, it's very costly to start modifying 500E's. Renntech wants an arm and a leg for everything. Seats weren't that comfortable either. I'm much happier with my 88 928S4(big red brake upgrade 17" turbo twist rims, rear muffler bypass) and 02 S4 though I have to do some stuff to it, to get it where the 928 is.
The 500E can eat a lot of cars alive but an M5 can make quick work of it stock. The REnntech 6.0L are beastly though if you have 30 grand to drop into your engine.
