Is there any numbers for 0-60mph and 1/4 times with just a X-Chip upgrade? TIA :-)

A difference of about 5-8 car lengths to the 1/4 mile. That's a lot, it's fast.

only...ran a 1.74 60' and a 13.2. I forgot the mph. only drove it once...it was about 55 deg out. no other mods whatsoever. full interior. 2001 Mbox. revision 5 IIRC

Stock I ran an average of 14.0, and with just the GIAC X-chip ran 13.50's at 102. These were actual track times. With a G-tech 0-60 went from 5.3's to 4.8's, with a best of 4.75 seconds.

...how come no one has posted a time slip? The best is Cup-A-Chow at 13.98 @ 98.5 with a Borla exhaust?

Please don't get me wrong, I know a few of us can get 14.0 with a stock S4 but it's certainly not "average". No way.

I do not remember my tap speeds (high 90's, but not certain), but I ran a ton of 13.9's, but NEVER hit 13.8.

I think one night with Pete (local chicago tip guy) I ran five or six 13.9's in a row, out of six or seven runs.

I think most strong drivers can get a 13.9-14.1 out of an S4 with practice.


I have seen a ton of stock S4's run faster than 14.1, but have never seen one run faster than 13.9 (though, as you pointed out, it has happened).

Take care and keep the rubber side down on that bad *** ride of yours! Melt every time I see those wheels.
