AFAIK, no. I didn't, and I didn't have any problems.

Default My dealer did this - replaced rotors but left old pads on. The new rotors have developed a

vibration equal to the vibrations that caused them to replace the rotors in the first place. I don't know if this is from my aggressive driving style (or more accurately, my aggressive braking style) or just due to the old pads not being perfectly smooth. My guess is that it should be OK due to the pads being somewhat softer than the rotors (I assume you are talking stock pads), with a gentle break-in period being used.

I know the pads aren't cheap, but if you are going to the trouble of replacing the rotors, I personally would go with new pads, just to be sure and to save yourself the trouble of swapping the pads in the near future. My guess is that you'll have to reseat the pads after taking the calipers off regardless.

Default Using Hawk Pads w/ Zimmerman rotors...due to bad vibrations

on BBS rotors w/ the Hawk Pads since installed...don't know if the rotors were shot, or bad rotor/pad combo, or bedded incorrectly.

Default I am assuming my new vibrations will go away with a proper bedding procedure, its just that being

able to perform the bedding and then not have to hold the brakes until the rotors and pads cool is difficult to do where I live unless I try going out at like 5 AM on a weekend (and I don't do too well with rising early on the weekends...). I would say keep the used pads if they have a lot of life. Myself, I would rather do everything at once since I have trouble finding the time to get the car up on a lift or stands very often, so when I do I tend to do all the work I can at one time. Go for it and re-bed with the used pads and you should be OK.
