I was reading, and I thought I saw a post a while back that said H&R coilovers at a minimum lower the car 1". Are there any coilovers that allow you to set the ride height to stock?
Thanks,
Paul

I believe H&Rs can be set to stock or even slightly higher, but due to the higher spring rates the car won't nose dive as much so setting it to the same height would actually give you more clearance under some conditions. The least I would do is even out the gap between front and back.

I was told that the highest setting on the KW Variant 1 would lower the car .75". But when I installed them at that setting, it actually raised the car an 1" It looked pretty funny until I reset it again.

Someone told me when they first installed H&Rs at the highest setting the height was at the Allroad level. I know the spec says max is 3/4 below stock, but I don't trust it. How are yours set and what's your ride height?

are 22mm too hard for regular road? are 19 mm better? Can coilover set the car back to stock height?

So when coilovers (i.e: h&r) are ordered from a vendor, is the ride height pre-set from the factory?
