Is there an optimum tire pressure for my 16" snow tires? Should I use standard? or?

Default Is there an optimum tire pressure for my 16" snow tires? Should I use standard? or?

I used to run 38 all around for my P6000s but I'm unsure about different size tires and their pressure settings. Any advice?

Default Suggestion: Look behind the fuel door.

There are optimum tire pressures for both 17" and 16" wheels. =)

Default Wrong place to look.

The pressure marked on the tire is MAXIMUM allowed pressure, not the recommended amount. Unless the car is heavily loaded, that max. is almost sure to overinflate your tires and cause excessive wear.

Always check the owner's manual for recommended tire pressure for any car. Audi makes it even easier, by listing recommended pressures on a sticker inside the gas cap door. They list pressures both for lightly loaded and heavily loaded tires.

Default Interesting. The blowtenzas on my WRX have both listed....

But my Blizzaks don't. And both dissagree with what my fuel door says.

I've got 215/55x16 210A's and find the recommended 16" pressures on the fuel filler door work fine.
