Default Is there a problem replacing the fuel filter with a NON OEM unit such as fram, or purolator...

I have some help heading over to the house today to assist me in replacing the fuel filter, my question is should I wait and get the oem filter or would I be fine using a filter from the local parts store? Thanks for any info
