Default Yes, when I put the tranny back on after clutch job, I had to look at the bentley manual

to see where they went...IIRC there are like 3 or 4 different length bolts...

Default thanks for all the input...

I guess the tranny has to come off the motor now to sort it out, find out where the sheared bolt actually is, and fix. *&$#@ wasn't expecting to have to do that!

I think i will be paying a visit to the shop that did the TC a few months ago. You think I could demand a refund of the labor they charged me? WWAWD?

Default diagram I have is different than yours...

and shows 8 bolts. is that a 6sp diagram? regardless, dumbass put a M12 x 90 at #8, then my guess is an M12x110 at #2 that snapped.

Default Looks like that is the TIP diagram. My apologies I wasn't sure if the 6speed and TIP patterns were

different or not. Either way, they messed up and you should be compensated for their incompetence.

Default no worries

I had planned on referring to my own bentley before even considering pulling it apart. now we know they are different bolt patterns!

Default not as bad as I thought...

With the Bentley diagram, I was able to determine placement of the two outside bolts, and the one on top.. they had just swapped #s 1, 2, 8.

One bolt looked sheared, but ended up only having anti-sieze caked on the tip to make it look like it was sheared.

still disappointed that they didn't get it right.. who knows what kind of problems that may have caused.
