Howdy! Don't worry too much. I've NEVER had a ticket transfer from any state to my NY license, never. I've collected tickets from (x2) VT plus suspension, VA, CT, MA... and even the CT ticket never made it to my NY driving record.
Reciprocity exists, it really does have to do with the home state doing their research. The Feds want a fully federal system that designates speeding/traffic infractions, no state to state reciprocity. According to current law all states are supposed to report to each other, but it is so rare, though I've heard of folks getting tickets in Canada and having them bite their **** in their home state.
No ulimited speeds in Montana anymore![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Have Fun!

Also, I've been bidding on Priceline for the last several weeks...I don't think priceline is getting hotel inventory in that area, so I don't expect to get cheaper/better rooms than the Travelodge.

I drove through montana about a year ago, and the only troopers I saw on the I-90/94 were escorting a prison bus! As far as I can tell, they don't really care what you do on the interstate -- but don't go speeding in town, or anywhere near a big city (only 4 of them the entire 700 mile stretch).
I don't think the road conditions would be safe though for > 120, and you have to watch the antelope. (Not kidding!)
