Yeah, I mean valve cover gasket seems intuitive, but cam tensioner seal I dont know

Default <voice of experiece> do the cam "plugs" too....

otherwise....you will still have the oil leak.

yeah I did cam seals when i did timing belt, is this different? what is the cam plug?

Default this is the writeup i used as a guide when i did mine, alot easier than everyone makes

it seem. Took me 1.5 hrs each side to do complete. I didnt line up my engine top dead center, no need to. You need the cam tensioner tool to make life easy. very straight forward. hardest part i have to say was getting the valve cover gasket to stay in shape since its pressed flat when they ship it. probably alot easier if you remove from the package and let it sit for a few hours.

Default thats a good idea, ill take it out,,....so clarifying, are you saying I dont need cam tensioner tool

? for changing the cam tensioner gasket.
