...I had no issues, and not only did I rev match, but I was actually flooring the throttle to immediately hit maximum acceleration as soon as 1st gear was engaged (imagine almost sidestepping the clutch to accelerate in 1st gear from a rolling start at 20mph, and that is how I would engage the gears in that situation). I did this several times during autocrosses (or on a short track with tight turns) after overshooting a braking zone. I also do it at 10-15mph in traffic more frequently.
