Default Not many on here will support that move. B5 S4 Avants are a cherished jewel...
If you really want an N/A car and are sick of worrying about turbos failing, then do it.

Default It's not about the turbo lady. It is strictly about styling cues.I am just afraid that it will be
seriously down on power compared to a 2.7 motor. I have suddenly found myself really liking the newer styling of the avants compared to the B5.

I like them...I prefer the B6 interior and exterior...but not the engine! Think about B7 also.

Default I am half way there. Sold the S4 Avant and still looking for a decent B6. Not easy to find!
Finding nice B5 S4 Avants is very easy. There are 3 for sale in the DC area now. Any time you shop A4s it is a pain. Most are Tips. Most don't have sport package. Some don't have seat heaters (wife issue!). Also, S4 owners take better care of their cars than A4 people.

I am ready to give up. Sell me your Avant :-)
