Thinking of buying 2000 S4 tiptronic with 47k miles , anything i need to beware of ?

Default Thinking of buying 2000 S4 tiptronic with 47k miles , anything i need to beware of ?

What's the reasonable price and what kind of recall or any issue with the car that i need to check out before buying .

Default You should get a 2001.5 or 2002 if possible. Otherwise, just be aware that it has two

turbos so don't expect Acura/Lexus reliability. My Stage 2 S4 Tip has been solid. If you chip, upgrade the TBB and DVs and be aware of the tranny limitation (no easy stage 3 upgrade w/ tip). If you STFA, you will find lots of good info.

2000 has no ESP. That's the biggest difference between that and 2001+.

Default yeah, for that reason, get a 2000...its the fastest year..

and lightest! =P

ESP is just extra wieght.

Default If you are planning stage III, expect to pay a lot more

IF you want cheap Stage III go stick.
