Default thinking of buying b5 s4 2001.5 need advice

Hey guys I found a b5 s4 2001.5 w/ 114kmiles, 6spd manual, only problem is blown turbos... he is asking 5,000 for it.. good price? Also I assume you shouldn't drive with blown turbos? Only reason I'm asking is because I would have to sell my car to buy this, and I don't think I'd have enough to put nicee turbos on it from the start (which I feel would be the best way to go considering eventually my goal would be to make it stage III so it would need nice turbos), is there anyway I could do anything to be able to drive it without turbos?
Thanks,
Brook

The car is immaculate the turbo is literaly only problem, perfect paint no dings, flawless interior, engine maintained... you think I can find a comparable one for 9-10 w/ less miles and non-faulty turbos? I've been looking I guess I just have not been having good luck on finding nice deals haha.

Unless you can find the money to immediately put some K04s in there I would pass. The car will run with a blown turbo but driving it anywhere other than to the garage where you will fix it is a terrible idea.

If you really like the car, just look around for some stock K03's (assuming you can wrench on it yourself). From what I understand, K03's are dirt cheap, couple hundred bucks and you'd have a car that would run for a while.

I think im going to try to get it for 4,500 or maybe 4,000.. if so my buddy works at APR and can hook me up with k04's for 2,000-2,500 he said so I'll see if that all works out
