I came across this 2000 Stage3 S4 and is pretty temped, http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/1235254602.html. My main concern is the high mileage, given it's almost a 10 year old car, and got 120k on the clock. If I get this car, I want to enjoy it for at least a few more years on a regular basis. Are there anything I should pay attention to or look out for on a car like this? What's the typical maintenance like for a stage3 modified S4?

I'm mechanically adapt enough to do the routing maintenance on a car, but not enough to diagnose engine/exhaust problems. Are these cars reliable enough to run smoothly with routine maintenance?

Overpriced IMO. Mileage is not a problem. Offer 13-14K. Car is fairly reliable, had this one now (from new) for 124K, still going strong.

Thanks for the suggestions. So a Stage3 S4 is only worth ~$14k? All the ones I saw on this board were priced higher, at around $17-18. What's the consensus here?

This is not a "stage 3" car per se. That would imply it has RS4 K04 turbos, this car has the stock K03 turbos modified to have the RS4 K04 compressor (aka cold side). Hence the K03/K04 hybrid in the mods description. Hybrid turbos aren't that uncommon, but there have been some issues with k03/K04 hybrid reliability over the years.
