Default Rods are ~1000. So with labor and all the other little stuff... ya probably about that.

It's either that or limit boost with your $6000 turbos ;-) You'll only be pushing 22ish psi on a stock block. That is about what most K04'd cars are running. But your spool will be much slower. Peak power might be higher with the tials(larger hot-side, in their efficency range) but the power under the curve wont be nearly as good. So K04's still win IMO.

OR you could end up blowing your engine, in which case you're looking at $2500+.

I think he said originality? That's an expensive price to pay for originality though IMO...

If Jared would stop playing Warcraft maybe he'd actually finish that project.

Default i would have to say tials for $6,000 is a rip off if they were 3500 then they would be go with the

local guy shawns kit for $1,000 more you get so much more you get hte best flowing manifolds for the 2.7 period. you get external wastegates, which are 3x better then internal. you get downpipes which cost 1500 alone so it is a no brainer at that point. go for rods i can have them and installed with the kit if you want for a really good price either build tials or shawns kit you are looking at 10k plus just to let you know.I would buy this last set of rs6's of me run them at 22psi on a vast tune until you get the cash to do rods then turn them up to 28psi and have some real fun.
