At the moment driver's seat is avaialble. The rest of the interior is in the car... how much could I get for all of it... including door inserts?
Secondly, if I just wanted to sell the driver's seats... how much would that be worth?

so in theory, based off what I paid, a front seat should be worth 350...
over on car-part.com they are selling for about 450 a seat,, but the recyclers they deal with: dads, specialized german, and such, all seem to be at the higher end of used car prices...
so between $350 and $450 for a single front is about right.
on a side note,,, if you would like to sell all the door cards, I'm in,,, or if you would like to swap, my black leather ones and some cash for your blue ones,,, That would be even better.
Philly Pa if that matters

the ones that are black/blue selling for $350 are the ones where the seat airbag is blown, which makes the seat worth very little. The only place on car-part.com that has even close to a full black/blue interior is selling it for $3400 without shipping. And that set is missing the front door panels, and has a rip in the passenger side seat.

I ran a serach before based on 2001 MY... and the highest price I got was 450,,, I see the add for mitchs for 1000 and believe me,,, those seats aren't going anywhere at that price.
look how long marc tried to sell his interior.... I think his was at 1500 complete and he couldn't find squat.

I agree - the price is high imho if you already have an S4 interior. however, if you don't - there are two options - aftermarket front seats - which will cost well over $3,000 for audi quality (heated, 8 way power, side airbags, etc)
and that's JUST front seats
or, buy the interior from a dealer (over $7k iirc)
(i'm talking about the black/blue with fronts, rears and door panels)
or get it for half the price from Mitch Auto or Dad's Auto.
Trust me, the interiors sell fast. Insurance companies are snatching them up like crazy. I called around, and found prices of $2,500 minimum for a "good" condition black interior, and $3,400 minimum for a "good" condition black/blue
i found a pretty ****ty condition black/blue interior through private sale -- and it still cost a small fortune. This way I should be able to keep my S4 interior, or sell it - and i wanted to keep mine since it's in mint condition - which is why i just got a very good education on used S4 interior pricing.
ps: neither of those quotes were for mint interiors. both had small tears and wear on the seats and light scratches on the door panels.
I never saw Marc's interior, so I can't comment on his trouble selling it. It could have been in ****ty condition, I dunno. If it was in mint condition, he probably could have sold it to a salvage yard in a heartbeat for that price. And it's not easy to sell parts to a salvage yard.
by the way, you're right about YOUR seats. The black S4 seats don't go for as much as the black/blue seats. Also keep in mind, I called all the places that list on car-part.com
None of those seats you see listed are even close to good condition. Call em yourself if you don't believe me, and ask the guy on the phone for a description of the seat (creases, tears, etc) and you'll find what I did.

even passed on a couple in the 1400-1500 range and ended up paying 900 for this.... I can't really comment on the salvage yards prices, cause I didn't look there.
