I'm going to finally dig into my front damping this weekend. It's clearly under damped in the front, and needs to be adjusted. I'm just not looking forward to tearing the whole front suspension apart again.

some person used an etching tool to write xxx lbs. big deal. obviously someone wrote the rates they did for my springs. but obviously some error is involved. stasis or koni is off.
allow my propaganda for a second:
if stasis adjusts and tunes on the same dynometer that could be out of spec based on the Koni results your kit could be out of spec. they list each kit as adjusted on a SPA dampner dynometer. if it's theirs then its showing 100-150 lbs. deviation. otherwise koni north america has a ton of explaining to do with all the published rates they have out there.
i'm interested in seeing how this comes out. just a simple explanation from some engineer that says, "oh, we're off." probably isn't gonna cut it for the thousands of kits they've already sold.

:-P I'm thinking about taking a day off of work to have PES open up that rear window, so I can clamp down the rear end. Truthfully, I am anxiously awaiting your results. Your insistence that the front is still porpoising after swapping springs tells me there is more to this picture than equalizing springs. Whatever I do, I want to do it once, and be done with it. So that may involve a 550 lb spring up front, and stiffer front shocks (the touring valving are clearly maxed out on rebound). I am really relying on your to come back with some results, before I start guessing again.
