to those running labree splits w/ test pipes
having them put in now,ftw. is it neccesary to modify the stock heat shields. I was told I won't need them with test pipes.

AFAIK, my heatshields are unmodded.
what software are you running? You may experience overboost throttle cut... I did with the aggressive tweaker GIAC-X file, but cured it with an MBC in parallel.

You're talking about the heat shields between the exhaust and drivetrain components?
they're still there. I had to bend them a little to accommodate the non-foulers, as the O2 sensors were rubbing up against them otherwise.

way louder than i expected
put on twin 2 as well. Had to leave the car so not sure how the drone will be. and revo stg 2 is supposed to eliminate cel. but still may get bungs from vast.
