Default Those with SSR Comp Wheels -->

I'm getting new tires and I want your thoughts: I've got Pilot Sports now 235-45-17 and I like them, but they are just a bit too large. So I'm thinking: S03s in 235-40-17 Yes? No? What brand and size do you have mounted on your SSR Comps and what is your ride height? I'm at 25 and 3/4" and any lower rubs with the 235-45-17s.

Thanks

Would they rub if you were an inch or so lower, do the sidewalls extend much past the wheel?

Default I used to have MTM springs with this setup, and there was no rubbing whatsoever. There is

some sidewall protruding past the wheel - but not really. Just FYI, E36 M3s have 17x8.5 wheels in the rear - and the stock tires they come with are 245/40/17.

Did you roll your fenders? Are the P-zeros a big tire like my pilots, or is the 45 height the issue?

Default Nope - didn't roll the fenders - and no, the P-zeros are not a big tire at all - they look normal.

I bet the fact your using 45 is the problem.

235/45 = 105.75mm sidewall
245/40 = 98mm sidewall
