Default For those who are curious, here is a before and after look at the "PEB Throttle Cut Defender" *edit*

Before the PEBTCD, it took 5.23 seconds to go from 4200-6480. At that time, I was spiking to 16 psi with the MBC and letting X chip control boost the rest of the way. Note that anything about the 16 psi or so I was spiking at would have caused throttle cut at that time.

Now, after the PEBTCD, it takes only 4.51 seconds to go from 4240-6480. I am currently able to spike to about 18 psi and then let X chip control boost the rest of the way.

In Conclusion, before the PEBTCD my car went ~436 rpm/sec and now, after installing the PEBTCD, my car goes ~497 rpm/sec.

Default Who's gonna do the math... Given XXXX weight, and XXX drag, what's the Horsepower gain?

With the proper assumptions, constant weight and Cd, there should be enough info there to make a change in HP calculation...

Default That is impressive. I haven't logged in some time, but have you guys...

documented this in any Stage III cars?

I'm asking because I tried at one point to run a MBC in parallel to the N75 (with AWE Stage III) - initially tried it because of some spikes - anyway, when I did, I got throttle cut so I took it out - I think the cut went away - I logged all this some time back....

Just wondering what your experience with this is in a stage III car.....

Default I'll have to get back to you on that one. I'll let others chime in with their own data :)

As for throttle cut, I can't see how an MBC in parallel could cause such a problem.

Default I don't know how that is possible either...but, the spikes went away and throttle cut....

started....I took it out and did a few more runs without throttle cut....

I think I need to go do some logging this weekend and see if something might be going on here!
