I recently purchase KW Variant 1 coilovers and finally got them. I am going to have them installed tomorrow, but want to make the install as easy as possible, so I want to set the coilovers before I install them. I want to set the coilovers at their maximum height, which will lower the car about a little more than .75" probably almost an inch by the time the settle. But I am a little confused, do raise the spring holder as high as it will go? It would seem when I do that, there would be no way to install the coilovers, becuase the spring is way above the top of the coilover. Is that right? or is it better to set them at their lowest setting, and then raise them once they are installed? Please help. Thanks in advance.

...set them at the lowest height to start and adjust upward. I think you need to have them at the lowest height to get them in the spring compressor. YMMV.
Just for kicks, when you first put them on (at the lowest setting), lower the lift just to see how low they can go. Talk about slammed. I wish I had thought to take pics.
