Default Those of you with AWE downpipes: Do you need the "olive" when clamping the flared pipes? Or will the

olive clamps alone work? I have both pieces but I can't seem to figure out how the olive fits between the two pipes or in the olive clamp...the olive clamp itself is a no brainer though. But when I put the olive in, it seems to jiggle around when it's clamped.

This is the olive clamp, should be familiar:

And here's the olive i'm referring to:

Do you remember what to do with this? I bought these clamps from a Jaguar site since AWE uses these same exact ones.

Default I know how to clamp the pipes hehe.... I'm just wondering if AWE uses this:

and if so, does it just slip in between the clamp? It seems really loose when it's in there; that's my concern.

Default I just tried this and when it's tightened up and you shake the pipe you hear it jigglin around

I actually looked in the pipe as I shake it and you can see it hopping around between the olive clamp. What do you mean by lining it up? Clamps aren't exactly rocket science here but this olive insert doesn't want to stay in place.

Default put that piece between the two pipes and pull them together under ..

the outer ring. The piece should almost be covered by the pipes. Hold them tightly together and then gently tighten the clamp. The clamp will hold and tighten the joint but won't pull it together on it's own if you know what I mean.
