Those of you with KO4's...
I'm looking way into the future, but I absolutely love my car and dont ever get rid of it, and i was just curious about ko4's and how they've been holding up. I'm praying that my ko3's stay healthy for a while but if the inevitable should happen, I am most likely going to upgrade and at that I was just curious about ko4's and engine reliability and how many miles you've had with k04's and if there've been any problems. Thanks!

Is it possible to just put in ko4's...
what else is needed? I know software is, but as for everything else? Is it pretty much the kits that are out there? And also what kits are you running?

The only thing that is absolutely needed with K04s are the inlet pipes.
It would make sense to do downpipes (at least piggie pipes) while the engine is out to save on labor costs. Probably the timing belt service if you are anywhere near 60k as well.
