Thoughts on V-Kool, after the fact

Well, I got the V-Kool tint. Meant to post about it that afternoon, but I've been too busy doing things like driving. ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The tint looks nice. It's 35%, although that's not where the V-Kool magic is. The actual tint is really just for looks. Looks nice on my brilliant black.
Heat reduction - Nice. I can be sitting in the Texas sun, put my hand up by my windshield and feel the heat. Put it up by any other window, nothing. Nothing at all. No heat. Very nice. Car is noticably cooler and takes considerably less time to cool down. This'll be great once the real summer heat gets here.
Radar detection - I can't tell any difference in my unscientific test (drove by a poor sod who'd been pulled over and noticed how long the V1 complained after I passed). Seems like V-Kool has little or no effect on radar.
I'm quite pleased, and I'll recommend this tint to everyone. You can even get it in transparent if you don't like the darkened windows.<p>-Andrew
