I know I threw the code when I put the accelerator to the floor in 2nd gear and just when the boost was about to kick in it went into limp mode. I shut off the car and turned it back on and evrything was fine. I haven't been able to repeat it since and that was several weeks ago. Anyone know what a throttle valve malfunction issue is ?? Is it related to something else. I've checked all my hoses and everything seems fine, no tears, no leaks etc.. I am left scratching my head.

it basically controls the opening/closing of the throttle plate in the throttle body...if you're in front of the car with the hood open it is the metal cylinder behind the boost pressure sender...it's right over the throttle body of course.

I'm not sure of voltages and things like that but maybe just doing a visual is worth it...loose harness , frayed wire etc ?

is this the butterfly type valve you see when you take out the TBB ?

that would be the throttle plate...the valve is the cylinder above it (external to the throttle body
