Default throttle body adjustment

guys, i've been reading on cleaning your throttle body, I have some rough idle issues, i am pretty sure its the throttle body.

how do you adjust after you have cleaneded it?
Is it easy to take the hole thing off and clean it?

thanks

Default Just clear the TBB and clean it with choke/carb cleaner. Do an adaptation when finished...

Taking it completely out isn't necessary.

Best,

Ram

Default I asked a question about this a couple weeks ago. I was afraid to just push it open with my figners

but ended up just doing it anyway. Used carb/choke cleaner as RAM said and a rag to get as far back as I could while holding it open with the other hand. Did a TBA after and everything is fine.

Default Yeah I was hesitant the first time too, didn't want to FU the TB but you can push it open slowly.

I used some STP Throttle Body cleaner I had laying around then did a TBA.

Default VAG-COM -> Engine -> Measuring Blocks -> Group 60 -> GO! -> Switch to Basic Settings

People also say it happens with Key On Engine Off but in my experience it doesn't happen timely. SSG says 24 minutes with Key On Engine Off...
