Default Throttle body hose fixed

I replaced my throttle body hose. Not that hard. The rupture was almost 1-3/4" long! (yikes!)

Replacing the hose did not reduce the turbo "whirring" noise we discussed earlier.

The boost is BACK!! Wooo--HOOOO!

- donp, hammer down!

Default Ok...so the boot replacement gets rid of the symptom...now...we do we do about the problem?

Something caused this....but what?...it is the on and off boost situation and the severity of the changes in phases? I don't think all of us want to have a stash of these throttle body boots in our garages...just ready to install every time we get it on with the local M3. As you know this isn't exactly a 5 minute R&R job to remove and replace.

BTW, Is this a problem just for chipped S4 owners...or all owners?

Inquiring minds want to know...Bueller?

Hopefully, the new part number solves the problem. 20 minutes to R&R

Have not seen the new one yet. I bought an "L". Rupture was on the side.

Can't believe that part is only about $10. I'd expect to pay more for an OEM part
