Default Ticking noise?

I've noticed a ticking noise coming from the top of the engine lately. At first, from inside the car, I thought it was an exhaust leak, but when opening the hood, it sounds like it's right on top of the engine.
What could this be?

Noisey valve lifter? Does it follow engine RPM?

Default Try running some Seafoam through your oil...STFA for instructions

I was having what I would describe as valve noise. I ran Seafoam per the tech article, and it cleared up a lot. I'm going to run it again at my next oil change and see if it helps more.

Just control arms, pretty sure that wasn't the cause.

Watch out for neighbors in wheelchairs when you do it though.

Something I need to be concerned with, or just live with the noise?
