Or are most people here that are Stage 3- are homebrew stage 3- with stage 1 software?

Default huh? A "homebrew" car is still a full stage 3 even though it is using K03 code

A 3- is Ko4's with stock fueling, thus you are limted to about 400 hp. You are basically maxing out the injectors at that point. Homebrew stage 3's are using larger MAF's and injectors and are all lemmitweaked out and are considered stage 3 (hell they tend to be faster than lots of tuner kits out there) FWIW I'm an APR 3-

Do you have an actual APR 3- ECU, or just running APR v5 code?

Default My mistake then. I was under the impression that a Homebrew Stage 3- means..more

Using ECUS coded for K03s as in Stage 1 software as oppose to a true Stage 3- which has ECUs coded for K04s.

Default just the v5 code with "Mark P tweaks" to the primary fueling and timing

It's smooth but not the fastest.

Default No problem, just clearing up the confusion. A lot of the homebrews are pretty damn fast

and would take offense to being called a lowly 3- :-p

Default My car with APR v5 code with K04's looks pretty much like it did with K03's (no Lemmi tweaks).

Default Yea, like I said not that fast, haha. Pulls a little harder up top where K03's fell off

I was stayed pretty even with an AMS 3- (k03 code) the other day, but I'm catless and he had piggies. I'm sure a GIAC 3- would pull on me though. This is more of a hold over until I get EPL tuned... hopefully sometime this summer.
