Default Don't buy a lightweight battery unless you drive your car everyday and in good weather

There's no free lunch. Smaller lighter batteries have fewer CCAs and will lose their charge faster. If you ever plan to leave your car for a week or more you're going to regret getting a smaller than stock battery....especially if you live in a cold climate.

The 20lbs are not worth the compromise for me. I track my car and still would rather have a big battery that won't let me down when I fly back into Ohare and its 10F outside. My Odyssey PC925 lasted less than a year.

Me either (pc680) let it sit for one week in -5 to 15 degree weather and it cranks first try.
