What is the total weight of that bug? That is an impressive lift. I am guessing since that bug
is 60% rear-weight of 1500lbs, that makes a 600lb lift, but at an angle. My guess is it feel more like 400lbs or so.
Once at lockout, you can hold it there pretty long. I'd think it's within my personal limits with a 500lb Deadlift. It's reps that count, not duration of lockout.

why cant a split intake manifold ,and turbo in the engine valley like ford does with its deisals
You wound ned a split / 2 intake manifolds that could go over the valve covers.
