Just hit 46K on my 2000 S4 and it is time for the first brake job. Looking for recommendations on where to purchase stock rotors or stock slotted replacements. no track use yet, just spirited driving. Also any recommendations on pads would be helpful
I have been searching the forums looking for this info however most of the info pertains to upgrading the calipers and rotors.

In fact, I'm about to order my rear rotors and pads from them today.
Shipping is quick (2 days) and cheap (free), their prices are very competitive.
I've ordered from them 5+ times, and am still quite happy.
For slotted, I got my fronts from:
www.partsandaccessories.com
Again, awesome pricing and free shipping, and they got to my in 3 days.
Good luck!<ul><li><a href="http://www.audicarparts.com/">http://www.audicarparts.com/</a</li></ul>

are you getting any brake noise from the HPS pads. I have been searching on this topic and see that some have experienced this with them

regular around town speeds, almost zero noise.
They did squeal a lot the first day or so. But then I did a bed in procedure (10 iterations of 65mph hard braking down to 10mph and repeat without pausing). And nearly all of the squealing went away.
Dust appears to be significantly lower than OEM. Pedal feel is better too (but then I again I did add stainless steel lines at the time).

after about 6 hard stops these things are pretty toast for me. They're not as good as stock for fade resistance IMO, but dust waaay less and stop harder when in temp range.
