Finally out of warranty so I figure its time to upgrade the brake pads and paint the calipers red as well. Granted the actual install of the pads and painting of calipers won't happen until next spring...but I figured I mine as well take advantage of the holiday deals.
I'm really just looking to get rid of the brake dust build up and get a lil more grip.

have heard from some that PBR Metal Axis are low dust and a decent pad, so that's what I went with. When I install them, I'll let you know what my thoughts are. Dave

I got mine from Import Replacement Parts (www.importrp.com), front and rear Mintex pads for about $105 shipped. The price was reasonable and supposedly they're good all around street pads and have very low dust and fade. I haven't put them on yet but I will this weekend. I can let you know over the next couple weeks how they perform for sure.

Mike put together a nice little chart comparing a swath of brake pads. That chart alone should earn him your business.
And if you want better performing pads, you're going to have to be flexible on that dust criteria.

On tarmac, they are a fantastic street pad. But I did find last winter that they tended to not be very progressive around the lock-up point for good winter tyres on snow. This made them hard to modulate.
I hated the OEM pads.
