timing belt issue:

I've done several timing belts before so I know most of the ins and outs of the job and how to do it with the proper tools. However, I need to verify that I can do what I am about to do.......
I lined up the crank as usual and got the crank lock pin holes to line up. I then took off the belt and all of the associated hardware other than the cam sprockets. When I went to put on the cam lock bar I realized that the holes were actually 180 degrees from where I needed them for the cam lock bar to slide on. I realized my error as soon as I did it; I should have put on the cam lock bar BEFORE I removed the belt. So here is my question:
Can I strictly turn the cams clockwise 180 degrees individually so the cam lock bar fits and the crank lock pin lines up? Does the crank have to turn with the cams in order to prevent improper timing?
Should I attempt to put it all back together so the belt turns the cams at the same time as the crank? (I don't particularly want to have to do this if not necessary).
