Timing belt life 104,000 miles..NOT according to this hood sticker!!

trumps the sticker. If I were you, I would call AoA and ask them this question very specifically and then write down the date, time and name of the person you talked to regarding this question.
If you are keeping your car and do not have an extended warranty; I can think of no sane reason why you would go past 60k without changing the water pump, timing belt, and related tensioners. If you have an Audi Assured warranty, it may get you a new engine to let the timing belt go to the recommended mileage. Personally, I think it is inexcusable for AoA to let something like this exist - two conflicting mileage recommendations for changing something so critical to our engine's life. Damn Germans! (or maybe damn american marketing guys...) ***only edited to correct a typo***

104K, for V6 and V8 engines. I have called Audi, and asked for a written response, as they changed it for 2001.
Found the 75K sticker on the car, so my plan to change Timing Belt, Water pump, Ribbed belt, and belt tensioner roller at 72K should be ok.
Audi needs to clearify this issue.
