Tinting?

Tinting?
I talked to the dealer today and he advised that I don't get metalized tint because it can affect the auto-dimming mirrors and cause them to be dim all the time. Anyone know if this is true and if so, what film should I get? I also wasn't sure if he meant the shinny metalic film or the black film that is metallic as well.

If you tint the windshield then it's possible
The auto dimming mirrors work like this. There is a sensor in front of the Rearview mirror and one behind it. If the light level in back is more intense then the light level in front it will dim.
