Default TIP downpipe install. Any DIY'ers? Any advice?

I know this install is a PITA. That being said, is there any advice you can share to make this task any easier? My labrees will be going on this weekend so I am trying to gather as much information as possible. TIA.

Default Make friends with someone who has a TIG ...

I had to have mine cut in four places, bent and then re-welded

in order to fit correctly and not press against a) tranny and b) firewall.

That's odd. I didn't have to do any of that, and mine fit perfectly.

Default What can I say ? **** happens - The second picture really speaks for itself, you can see the ...

misfit on the Turbine Outlet and pushing against the Tranny body.

At first I thought it could be a side effect of the Manifolds, K16 Hybrids or DP. However while the Stock DP rubbed slightly, it fit much better.

The Drivers side DP went on without a hitch.
