Anyone know how to fix this? When at 1st first gear, rev doesn't go all the up but instead jumps to 2nd gear around 2-3krpm. I have a 2002 model with 118k mileage.

They'll do that to save fuel. Try hitting the gas pedal hard as if you were racing. It shouldn't shift automatically for you.

Today I recoded mine from 0032 (I had already coded it for holding first) to 01032. It seems to shift a bit more smooth, and have a more positive engagment into 4th. I got this from a guy on quattroworld. No idea of the long term effects but it also holds first.

On a different note. I emailed Sam and asked him but maybe you could shed some light on something. In tip mode in second gear does your rpms stick around 2500 rpms for a second and then start to rise again under steady acceleration or is something wrong with my 2nd gear. Wot it doesnt do this but just driving normal it does it everytime.
