Tiptronic Upgrades for Stage 3???

OK so I have read what I can find on Level 10, spokento them a few times and I am still not clear. Having them do the full trans for 4500 or upgrading the torque converter and valve body @ about 1500? According to them either option will handle the power of a well set up turbo upgrade.
Does anyone have any experience or real understanding of what the difference in performance and strength will really be?

If you're planning on moderate 3- hp/tq and drive reasonably, a TC and VB might be OK. If you want more hp/tq (fueling, agressive tuning, etc) and will drive the car hard with lots of launches, etc. think about cracking the tranny to upgrade the clutch packs.
FWIW, my 3- set-up has been good for over 10k with just an L10 TC.

Car has 112K on it. Has been modified most of it's life. K04s have been on for 10K now. Doing fine at this point. I will report back as things develope.
