Being a weekend car, it doesn't see much use. I simply will not take this car on my mundane day-to-day errands, so it pretty much comes out if I'm taking a longer trip. Since I got back from Mid Ohio on June 16th, I've probably driven the car 150 miles. One trip to work, and Avantfest. Today I took a trip up to NYC to bid farewell to another AW bachelor (Pelican Pete is getting married next weekend). God damn this car is fast. All the other cars on the road become mere sheep!

In one sense, I was grinning from ear to ear, in another, I was a little sad. In the last few weeks I've been contemplating selling the S as I save to buy a house. If I did that, I would be stuck driving my 10 year old beater for about 2-3 years while I get over that hurdle. It's a painful thought!

I guess I'll just enjoy the moment! This was my dream car ever since I heard rumors back in 1998. I'm still thankful that I'm fortunate enough to own one. :-)

Okay, that should fill the "happy S" quota for the day. Let the complaints continue.... :-P
