Torctite exhaust clamps - I just bought two

Default Torctite exhaust clamps - I just bought two

Take a look at these torctite exhaust clamps. I plan on using these to replace the 2.5" T-bolt clamps on my APR exhaust.

I bought the T-bolt clamps due to clearance concerns with the APR clamps. THe problem is they don't keep the joint from flexing and rattling against the heat shield. The "tee" is actually (cheap) rolled metal and one is bent. THere's no way to torque the nut more without bending it even more.

I just bought two of these torctite clamps off ebay for $25 w/$10 shipping gouging. We'll see how they do..

mine which are Walker;s and look exactly the same have performed well on my leaky *** VM1

Default thats all I have ever used on large diesel trucks (i.e. 18 wheelers)..but...

they are not strong when it comes to limiting movement

they seal very well as the metal is soft though....

You can find those clamps at your local store for $9 each.

yup, had those 'band clamps' on my VM1 for couple years, been just fine.

jcwhitneay also sells this type of clamp i have them too on my vm3 .
