it's tough to go in, but you can get it in? or you just cant get it in gear at all 20% of the time.

Default Do you have a short shifter? Not to scare you or anything but mine did that right before
the syncros went and I had to get a new trans. Although I have heard stories of guys with problems with there short shifters too.

Default blip throttle > engage clutch > put in to 1st gear, if that fails ...............
put a little hair around it.

no short shifter. it has been this way ever since I bought it a year ago.

yea, it eventually goes in after wiggling and re-clutch depression

Default When does it happen, standing still, or on a roll (e.g. coming from 2nd gear)
if the latter, the gearbox doesn't really like to be shifted into 1st gear when rolling....hence, the comment that WECoyote-ugly <ducks> made.....
