I had purchased a V1 remote display nearly 2 years ago now and had it in my hands within a week of sending him the parts.
Just about a year ago he was kind enough to meet me in person to install my TG short shifter. He absolutely refused to take any money from me for the install. He completely went out of his way and met me at a middle point between the two of us early on a Saturday morning.
While it sounds like he is most certainly at a low point in his life I don't believe for a second it's an attempt to steal money or parts from fellow Audi enthusiasts. In fact, a friend contacted him shortly after having the V1 mod installed about having him custom make something for install in his M3 and he refused the job stating he only wanted to dedicate his time to Audi fans.
When I met him he had just left his job which he had held for quite some time; 20 plus years if I recall correctly. He sounded optimistic about the prospect of growing his Audi business and doing some freelance work. He was telling me about his turbo timer and that he'd be releasing details on it anytime...
While I appreciate everyone's frustration with the situation, I hope Craig is able to pull himself out of his current funk and regain the optimism he had when I met him and that the current situation is resolved to everybody's satisfaction.

he's going through a very tough time personally & unfortunately has to sort some things out before he can get back to his work with S4 parts. I'll talk to him & hopefully try to inspire him to get rolling on this stuff again. For those that have parts with him, please be patient & he will get to them as soon as possible.
