It's a gift that he's even spending his time modifying our cars by hand. You'll get your short shifter but not if you keep bugging him when he physically can't do it. That's just rude. Your decision to put a short shifter in your car is not more important that his health, or his free time to be honest, it's not like he runs a full business where he has signed some contract with a distributer that he will make X amout of shifters per year for us on AW. Granted you may have already paid him, but this back problem/surgery was unforseen and frankly you're being VERY rude by posting this.
