Toyed with mustang this morning on the way to work... can't help but torment 'stangs
It was older Mustang (80's or early 90's) with tinted windows. The person driving the car had a lead foot.
How it all happened....
Pulled up behind the person at a red light on a two lane road. It was either behind the mustang (right lane) or a corolla (left lane). The choice was obvious so I got behind the mustang. The mustang took off , I had room to move ahead of the corolla. The next light is red and I take off. Wasn't really racing at this point but the lead foot in the mustang picked up that my car had a bit of pep.
The next light we're both at the front of each lane. I look over at the mustang and the engine is rev'ing. I can't make out who is in the car as the windows are darkly tinted. In retrospect the way this went down reminded me of Better Off Dead. I rev my engine... mustang revs... back and forth... light turns green and I see nothing but mustang in the rear view mirror. It was pretty funny.
I turn off the road we're on and in my rear view mirror I see the mustang does the same. Going a more reasonable speed on this road the mustang guns it and passes me in a futile attempt to save some face.
We pull up to the next red light and I look over with a big grin on my face and see that the driver is blonde and female. Window was still to dark to make out if she was cute. If I ever see her on the road again maybe I can provide that info.
